A pan Yoruba Group,Yoruba Youth Forum, YYF has denied any having any relationship with Chief Imam of Yoruba in Ilorin, Sheik Abdulraheem Aduranigba.
YYF in a statement by its President General, Comrade Abiodun Bolarinwa said that the group does not have anything to do with the Chief Imam of Yoruba who in his latest video made some incendiary remarks.
“The attention of the Yoruba Youth Forum, YYF has been drawn to video making round about the Chief Imam of Yoruba in Ilorin, Sheik Abdulraheem Aduranigba in which he made some incendiary remarks and unguarded statement; we want say that Yoruba Youth Forum, YYF is not in any way part of this and we want to tell members of the public that we don’t have anything with Sheik Abdulraheem Aduranigba.”
Comrade Bolarinwa who frowned at the situation where individuals or corporate bodies will begin to use the good name of YYF to release controversial statements that does not reflect the position of YYF on political issues stands condemned.
“Yoruba Youth Forum, YYF is a civil society group whose mission is to emancipate and and also empower Yoruba youths all over the world. YYF is the new face of Yoruba activism.”
Speaking further, Bolarinwa added that YYF does not have anything to do with Sheik Abdulraheem Aduranigba and that those peddling rumour should henceforth disregard such careless statement.
