The Boko Haram sect has released a new video showing its men going about their normal business in a place believed to be Sambisa forest.
In the 29-minute footage which captured some fighters in a training session, the terror sect vowed to sustain the battle against the Nigerian state and not to lose an inch of ‘its territory’.
Some of the Boko Haram members were seen in a local bakery, a few on their farmlands, with others carrying out trading activities. Items such as foodstuff, books, cement, automobile spare parts were displayed in shops.
Also in the video, armed members of the sect rode on motorcycles, while some were seen operating computers.
An old man, who spoke in Kanuri dialect, said the militants have been living well in the forest. “You can see that we are doing well and living fine. Look at our crops, they are growing well,” he said.
One of the trainees at a session recorded in the video, said in Hausa, “We are ready to do everything to protect our territory… we won’t allow an inch of our territory to be penetrated by the infidels”.
