A teenager, Isaiah Favour Chizaram, who was recently alleged of lesbianism has been discharged from the hospital.
Our reporter gathered that Isaiah Favour Chizaram was allegedly caught on Tuesday October 19th 2021 and was beaten to coma by the angry youths who frowned at the act.
The angry youths escaped from the scene of the incident at Felele area of Ibadan around 9:50 pm, while the case was reported at Iyaganku police station.
Our reporter gathered that Favour was found by one Ibrahim Adeola and his wife after been beaten and left unconscious and was taken to D-Care Health Center on the same day for medical attention.
Our reporter, who visited the Health Center for a follow up, gathered that Isaiah Favour who was rushed to the health center was discharged on Monday 25th October 2021.
Favour denied the allegation during a chat with our reporter, claiming that her attackers were unknown to her.
While speaking about the incident, Dr. Chris Olugbenro confirmed that Favour was brought to their health Facility by one Ibrahim Adeola and that as at the time she was brought in, she was weak and physically drained.
“She was brought by one Ibrahim Adeola that she was weakened and brain drained” he said.
He however told our reporter that Favour was discharged on Monday 25 October 2021, after being confirmed medically fit.
The Doctor, however, told Isaiah to have adequate rest before getting back to work.
A letter of discharge sighted by our reporter and signed by Dr. Chris Olugbenro however stated that the Health Center can be contacted if any enquiry is needed.
It will be recalled that homosexuality is illegal in Nigeria.
