The Oyo South Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oloye Sharafadeen Alli has voted.
The former Secretary to the state government voted at his Unit 022, Ward 3, Ibadan North Local Government.
He condemned the late arrival of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC official at his polling unit.
He urged the electorates to come out and vote adding that security agencies have guaranteed people of safety.
Our correspondent reports that voting commenced at around 10 at his polling unit.
