A renowned publishing expert, Professor Oshiotse Andrew Okwilagwe has rated the Covenant University library as one of the best in Nigeria.
The erudite scholar stated this when he visited the citadel of learning.
According to him, Covenant University has one of the best libraries in Nigeria.
“This is one of the best libraries I have visited in Nigeria. In terms of space, organisation, materials and qualified people; this library is one of the best in Nigeria. It has 24-hour light and internet service. 80% of the lecturers and workers stay in the campus and no doubt Covenant University has one of the best campuses in Nigeria.”
The publishing guru and bibliotherapy expert also expressed his happiness to see some of his students from University of Ibadan doing very well in their top positions at Covenant University.
“I’m very happy to see some of my students at University of Ibadan doing very well here at Covenant University. You have been good ambassadors and I pray that you will all continue to excel in everything you’re doing.”
Okwilagwe is a Professor in the Department of Library, Archival and Information Studies (LARIS), University of Ibadan.
He is a scholar and a writer of commendable literary depth who holds degrees which are uniquely relevant to information resources manufacturing, processing, use of mass media and communication and has over 100 scholarly publications in high profile journals both home and abroad.
