Oyo RTEAN Congratulates Makinde Over Supreme Court Judgement

The Oyo State Chapter of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) had congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde over Wednesday 18th December 2019 Supreme Judgment, describing tpohe judgment as a landmark and a plus for judiciary and the Country democracy.

RTEAN in a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan by the chieftain of RTEAN Comrade Kamorudeen Idowu A.K.A (Owo gesi) Said that the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed Governor Seyi Makinde as the authentic winner of the govern ship elections shows that the court in the highest hope of a common man. The judgment shows that Governor Seyi Makinde is the winner of the election.

RTEAN described the apex Court ruling as an affirmation of the people’s will as expensed through their votes in 2019 governorship election in the state.

RTEAN described the ruling hid by justices Ukaego Merry at the Apex Court, as a land mark judgment and a plus for the judiciary and Nigerian democracy.

He praised Governor Seyi Makinde for standing firm and remaining undaunted while the case lasted and charged him to remain committed to the people and ensure the delivery of development through democracy to the people of the state.

RTEAN thanked the citizen of Oyo State for their understanding and support while the case lasted even as it called on the supreme court for doing a wonderful job.

RTEAN expensed confidence that Governor Makinde would certainly accelerate the pace of development in Oyo State, now that there would be no more distraction and guaranties that Governor Seyi Makinde will tackle the welfare of the people and address the needs of the people of Oyo State.

He also assure Governor Makinde that RTEAN is solidly behind him saying that RTEAN is fully ready to collaborate with him.

Comrade Kamorudeen Idowu, however, urged governor Makinde to run an all inclusive government that will transform the lives of Oyo State indigenes. Saying is victory at the apex court is a well deserved one.
