The Olomo of Omo-Ijesa, His Royal Majesty Oba Michael Oluwaseyi Adeolu Adejo has conferred the chieftaincy title of Are Akogun Omo-Ijesa on the President General of Yoruba Youth Forum, Chief Abiodun Bolarinwa.
The event took place on Thursday at the palace of Oba Michael Oluwaseyi Adeolu Adejo (Odundun II) at Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State.
Oba Michael Oluwaseyi described the Chief Abiodun Bolarinwa as a great youth leader who has proven himself to be worthy of the title through his “relentless efforts in service of the people”.
The Monarch added that Chief Bolarinwa is a very sympathetic and kind-hearted human being who never disappointed a sorrowing person.
“In the area of empowering the youths, Chief Bolarinwa has provided employments for many young Yoruba youths. He also has countless of other youths who he is giving scholarship.”
The Royal father further commended Chief Bolarinwa for championing the course of Yoruba people with his own personal money.
While responding, Chief Bolarinwa thanked the Royal Father for bestowing him with the chieftaincy title.
“I want to use this medium to thank and appreciate His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Oluwaseyi Adeolu Adejo (Odundun II) for this honour. This will no doubt serve as encouragement for me to continue to contribute to the development of youths and other less privileged in the society. I will also continue to champion the course of Yoruba”.
