A community based club, Oke-Odo Club, (OOC) will be celebrating its 2023 Oke-Odo Club day on Saturday 28, 2023 at Ibadan House, Oke Aremo, Ibadan.
This year’s celebration of Oke-Odo Day which activities kcked off few weeks back saw members of the club visiting Ose-Meji Temple at Oja-Oba, Ibadan and also Saint David Church, Kudeti on Sunday.
Members of the club will also be observing jumat prayer at Adebolu Central Mosque, Ile-Titun on Friday.
The grand finale of the programme will hold on Saturday 28th of October at Ibadan House, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan at 10am.
The event will witness launching of N250,000, 000 Appeal Fund for the competition of Club House, Investiture of patron and matron and honouring of friends of Oke-Odo Club and distinguished sons and daughters of Ibadanland.
Those expected at the event include the executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Moshood Olalekan Balogun, former Oyo State Governor, Dr Omololu Olunloyo, Chief Mutiat Olayinka Ladoja, Oba Hamidu Ajibade, Oba Muritala Olumini, Bamidele Olusegun Samson and others.
