There are indications that the cordial relationship between the former Governor of Oyo state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja and incumbent Engineer Seyi Makinde may not be cordial again.
An attestation of the frosty relationship between the ex-governor and incumbent governor which started as a rumour has been confirmed in a new album of one of the most popular Fuji musicians in the Country, King Saheed Osupa.
The Fuji musician in his new album tittled ‘Special Request’, talks about how the relationship between the two politicians have gone bad over the refusal of Governor Seyi Makinde to honour the terms of agreement he entered prior to the governorship election in the State.
Though, the talented musician sings in parable but the names of the two politicians he methodologically mentioned shows he is referring to them.
Currently, there are reports making round that some agents of the governor have directed government owned broadcasting outfits and radio presenters across the State to stop airing Saheed Osupa’s new album.
It would be recalled that some of the key actors from different political parties who merged together to present Seyi Makinde as its governorship candidate have accused the Governor of failing to keep his own side of the agreement.
Opposition parties in the state have also accused the Governor of awarding contracts non-indigenous companies and thereby abandoning indigenous companies that are paying taxes to the coffee of government of the state.
