Mohammed : 55 People Stole $6.2b From Nigeria

Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed, has stated that not more about 55 people may have stolen about $6.2 billion public funds from the country.
The Minister made this known as he spoke on Al Jazeera as part of a feature on the vast properties acquired in the UK with stolen funds by Nigerians.
Although, he gave no names of the culprits, he listed some projects which government could have executed with a third of the funds if they were recovered.
Mohammed declared that $2.06b of the alleged stolen funds would have built 600 kilometres of roads, 37 hospitals, 20,000 housing units and trained 4000 kids from primary to university level.
He also called on UK authorities to support Nigeria in its quest to recover stolen funds domiciled in the country.
