The Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Jimoh Oladuni Oyewumi has been described as a peace loving and responsible father with great passion for the advancement of Ogbomosoland.
Mogaji Areo Oyeyiola Oyelami gave this commendation while speaking with journalists at the weekend after he was installed as Mogaji Gbagungbade ( Family Head) ruling house in Ogbomoso .
He maintained that “The installation of three Mogajis by the monarch to fix the opening is a good move that will engender peace and unity in the family and Ogbomoso in general.
Baba is a man of integrity who always stand by the truth, he doesn’t joke with anything that will affect the peace of Ogbomoso and its people and before taking any decision he consults widely and pray to God for guidance”
“ As the head of our family , we have the right and duty to protect the family and support the Monarch in his bid to take family and Ogbomoso to the next level.
“There is no way people will not be aggrieved but, since God has placed the position in our hand , I want to appeal to our people especially those who are aggrieved to embrace peace and lets work together as brothers”.
My selection is not by power, it is a divine arrangement, it is beyond human comprehension and I thank God for using Baba Soun for me, I promised to be obedient, corperate with other in uplifting the integrity of our family and development of Ogbomoso at large.
