Laosun, Oyo AAC Guber Candidate Commiserates With Olubadan, Ibadan People Over The Death Of ‘Iyalode’

The Oyo state governorship candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Engineer Akinwale Omololu Laosun has commiserated with Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji (Aje Ogunniso) and the entire people of Ibadanland over the demise of Iyalode of Ibadanland, Alhaja Aminat Abiodun.
Laosun in a press release signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan described the death of Iyalode as shocking despite the fact that she was 94.
“I received the news of her death with great shock despite the fact that she was 94. Our tall, beautiful and elegant Iyalode of Ibadan was a blessing to Ibadan and its people.
Laosun added: “I extend my deepest sympathies to my father, Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, (Aje Ogunniso), her family and the entire indigenes of Ibadan over this great loss. May the soul of our Iyalode be at peace with our Heavenly Father.”
“Our Iyalode, Alhaja Aminat Abiodun was not only a beautiful and elegant woman, but was a great woman who will be truly missed and will always be remembered.”
“Though her death is very painful; we take solace in the fact that she lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation while alive. The fond memories of our Iyalode will linger on in our hearts. I pray that the good Lord give her family, Olubadan and the entire people of Ibadan the fortitude to bear the loss.”
