Lai Muhammed: Buhari Will Henceforth Work From Home

In what appeared to be confirmation that President Muhammadu still requires medical leave; Minister of Information, Lai Muhammed has said that ‎President Muhammadu Buhari will henceforth work from his residence at the presidential villa.
Lai stated this while speaking to state house correspondents at the end of the meeting of the federal executive council (FEC) chaired by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo in Buhari’s absence.
According to him, the President still needed some rest and has asked that all the files on his desk be brought to him at his official residence for treatment.
The president has not been making public appearances since he returned to the country after a 49-day medical vacation in the UK.
“We just concluded the federal executive council meeting, I’m sure you noticed that the president was not there. He was not there because he asked that he be allowed to rest and asked the VP to preside,” Mohammed said.
“And he will be working from home. He has asked all his files to be taken to him in the house. He will be working from home today.”
