Nigeria has really felt the economic effects of Covid-19 as reflected with the increasing rates of poverty, hunger and death. In this light, World Bank predicts more Nigerians to become poor by 2021.
The President of Jafo Loyalists Worldwide, Comrade Abiola Balogun, has expressed the need not to ignore the less privileged, weak and poor in the society.
The president in a conversation with Oyeniyi Esan vai WhatsApp noted that “war against poverty must be a collective efforts of everyone in the position of leadership. As responsibilities of good leadership is rated with the degree of service to humanity.
“The core purpose of our group is based on the humanitarian philosophy of our leader, HRM (Dr.) Adeshina Sulaimon Raji, the newly installed Oniba Ekun of Iba Kingdoms, whose penchant to empower everyone around him to be independent.
“Our King has the plans for different categories of people in the society. However, it is food items we just have to give some persons. We attend to people’s needs in respect to problems. We are ready to engage 500 youths for empowerment,” he concluded.
