The insecurity that pervaded Oyo state in recent has yet again taken a different dimension as 18 passengers of a commercial bus have been reportedly kidnapped in Igbo-Ora area of Ibarapa, Oyo State.
The victims, who were passengers of an 18-seater bus from Abeokuta, were kidnapped by unknown gunmen between Igbo-Ora and Eruwa, on Wednesday.
The identity of the victims is not yet known as at the time of filing the report.
It would be recalled that the rate of kidnapping has increased in Ibarapa Ibadan and some local government areas in Oyo state.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer, proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
