Eulogy To Olajumoke Christiana Akingbade

The death of a loved one is one of the greatest losses any person can experience in this world. That is why no matter what, every mortal must experience death.

But we must take solace in the word of God in the Book of Psalm, 34:18: “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

Olajumoke must have departed this world to join the Saints Triumphant, but her good legacies will forever be remembered.

Though she left us at the age of 65, Olajumoke would have wanted us to celebrate her life and speak about her sterling qualities and our fond memories of her with a smile on our faces.

As family members and friends, we should not dwell on the significant of the loss, but instead focus on praying and paying tribute to Olajumoke’s remarkable life because a life that touches others, lives forever.

She was simply an angel; an easygoing woman. She lit up every room that she ever entered. She brought a smile to the face of everyone she ever encountered. She was beautiful, poised, warm and genuine. She was a good wife to her husband and a good mother to all her children.

She always had a smile on her face and could brighten the darkest days. She was an angel with milk of human kindness. She was also a very compassionate person.

She cared a lot for her family and friends and would do anything to help them. She was one of the most loving and caring people that anybody could ever encounter. Olajumoke will always be remembered for her positive attitude, compassion, generosity and love for life.

As we are all saddened by the passing away of Olajumoke, we must remember what the Lord says in the book of Romans 14:8: “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
