...urges to intensify more prayers against insecurity

The Ekiti State Chapter of Action Alliance (AA) has felicitates with Muslim Faithfuls worldwide on the occasion of this year’s Eld-Kabir festival which comes once in the Muslim Council calendar year.
In a release made available to TheDispatch in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital by the State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Comrade Ajani Adebayo and signed by the State Chairman, Hon Dcn. Joseph Anifowose urged them to direct their prayers continuously against the insecurity that is shaking the country’s foundation at this particular time when the 2023 general elections are knocking out doors.
The Chairman appealed to Muslims in the spirit of love and sacrifice which the period of Sallah represent and offered prayer and supplications for the peaceful and successful conduct of the approaching 2023 general elections.
Deacon Joseph Anifowose who doubles as the Chairman of Ekiti Inter-Party Coalition (EIPC), further admonished the Muslims Faithfuls especially in Ekiti to pray for peace and harmony in Ekiti before, during and after the general elections. He particularly salutes the entire people of the state for the peaceful conduct of the last gubernatorial election in the state.
According to the statement, “Since God is the only arbitor that entrone individuals in particular position, all and sundries should put the election behind us and focuse on putting the mind of the incoming administration in the state before God for a very fruitful and beneficial programmes that will move the state forward both plitically and epppconomically for the benefits of the people”.
The party also urged Muslim Faithfuls to continually demonstrate the spirit of obedient, togetherness, and holiness, as reflected in the life of the Holy Prophet Ibraheem, who was considered the symbol of Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
“We pray that going forward, Ekiti state and Nigeria in general shall witness peaceful co-existence devoid of kidnapping, attacks, abduction and killing of innocent and harmless citizens, the statement said”.
