As Muslims in the country and other parts of the world celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival, a governorship aspirant in Oyo state for the 2019 election, Akinwale Omololu Laosun has felicitated with Muslims in the country, urging them to consider the sacrificial love of God and show this love to all Nigerians irrespective of other beliefs.
Laosun urged Muslims to use the opportunity to pray against the challenges faced by Nigeria; saying that ‘sacrificial love is the only way out to establish peace and joy to all and sundry.
““During this holiday, we must remind ourselves of the importance of mercy, compassion, and goodwill.”
He also enjoined all Muslim faithful and all Nigerians “to continue to persevere and pray for peace and progress of the nation”.
“I greet and felicitate with all my Muslim brothers and sisters as we celebrate this year’s Eid-il-Adha. I also congratulate all believers who have successfully undertaken the Hajj this year and pray that the Almighty God will empower them to be ambassadors of love, peace and goodwill to the people of Oyo State”
