The recent increasing rate of unemployment that has flooded the African society rending the productive youths of the continent helpless in pursuit of good life.

This has led to different forms of empowerment programs by public and private organizations assisting self liberation.

This was disclosed in an interactive session with Report Africa Newspaper via Instagram after the celebrity DJ Toy with the real name as Tope Olowe, posted on his page that “Don’t toy with your career” calling out the African youths to embrace inborn passion inherent in each individual as a means to self realization and fulfillment.

DJ Toy noted that, “According to statistics made available on the internet that the jobless rate rose to 32.5% from 30.8% in the previous three months, which is the highest number ever recorded in South Africa alone.

“The rate is worrisome because it is going to affect the general society in an serious negative light. The only way out of this mess is to embrace individual talents and passion. This is the time the youths have to work on self realization to build oneself.

” As my stage name goes DJ Toy; it is a constant call to remind me that life is not a place to toy with. It is based on this background that I’m saying nobody should toy with his or her career. I am only worried that some youths still toy with their life”.
