Contrary to the expectation of Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari Will be addressing the Nation as another two weeks pronouncement had lapsed; the presidency has declared that nothing of such will be happening.
Reacting to the development on his Twitter handle, the presidential spokesman, Femi Adeshina said that President Muhammadu Buhari will not be addressing Nigerians on COVID-19 as being reported by some media houses.
According to him, there was no plan before that the President would be addressing Nigerians on COVID-19 as being speculated.
He however said that the presidential task force on COVID-19, will only be briefing Nigerians on its efforts.
It would recalled that many media houses had earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari would be addressing the Nation tonight on the next pronouncement on COVID-19.
