The Ejemo of Odogbo-Ijesha, Chief Jacob Adedeji Adeyeye has clarified the rationale behind the installation of HRH Oba Olatunde Oginni JP as the Olodogbo of Odogbo-Ijesha describing the title as the choice of the good and eminent people of the community done over a decade ago with no challenge with any law suit.

While reacting to a letter being circulated on social media that the Osun State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy denied the existence of the title, the community and the law abiding citizens have never relented in the demand for the recognition and enthronement of the title of the Olodogbo of Odogbo-Ijesha.

Chief Adeyeye faulted those hell-bent on misleading people with false information.

The title of Olodogbo of Odogbo-Ijesha is not political but purely Traditional. Oba Olatunde Oginni was duly selected and installed over 12 years ago due to his philanthropic and humanitarian deeds to the community which cannot be quantified or rubbished.

The Ejemo also enjoined everyone to continue supporting the Olodogbo of Odogbo-Ijesha in order to bring more developments to the community.
