BREAKING: FG Denies Proposing N105,000 As Minimum Wage

Contrary to story making round that the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Minister of Finance and Coordinating of Economy, Wale Edun has proposed N105,000 as minimum wage for workers, one of President Bola Tinubu’s spokespersons, Bayo Onanuga has described the report as false.

Onanuga on his verified social media handles described the story as false.

“The Honorable Minister of Finance and coordinating minister of the economy, Wale Edun has not proposed N105,000 minimum wage. The contrary story being disseminated is false.”

The organised labour would be recalled suspended its nationwide strike to allow for more dialogue between it and the federal government on the minimum wage.
