Bobrisky Vs Tonto Dikeh: Mompha Warns Bobrisky Not To Use Him Name For Clout-Chasing

Mompha, the Instagram celebrity, has called out Bobrisky, the crossdresser, for claiming he gave Tonto Dikeh, the actress, the sum of N300,000 without his knowledge.

Bobrisky and Dikeh renewed their lingering face-off on Friday as they trade words using their individual social media pages.

The drama started when the actress enjoined her followers not to be swayed by those who flaunt their wealth on social media, adding that some go the extra mile of borrowing from bureau de change (BDC) operators just to show off.

Although she did not mention any name, Bobrisky, who assumed he was being called out, wasted no time to fire back at the film star.

In the heat of the drama, Bobrisky had alleged that Mompha once “secretly” gave the actress N300,000.

But in a lengthy Instagram post on Saturday, Mompha slammed the self-acclaimed transgender. He also warned him against using his name for clout-chasing.

The internet celebrity said although he indeed gave Dikeh the said sum, it was not in the context Bobrisky portrayed it “to discredit the movie star before the general public.”

The socialite also said it was Bobrisky who told him that Dikeh once accused him of being stingy which he dismissed.

“Boy/girl, stop using my name for clout chasing. Are you mad or what, Bobrisky? Be warned. My attention has been drawn to a statement credited to Idris Okuneye (aka “Bobrisky”), which is currently receiving traction across the social media,” he wrote.

“In the said statement, Bobrisky stated that I gave Tonto Dikeh the sum of N300,000 without his knowledge. I wish to state that this is not only untrue, but a deliberate attempt by Bobrisky, who is notorious for seeking attention through every means (including blackmail), to smear and ridicule my personality before the world.

“Rather, it was Bobrisky who informed me that Tonto Dikeh accused me of being too stingy, which I refuted as untrue. The truth is that I only gave the sum of N300,000 to Tonto Dikeh for her foundation when she pleaded with me to support her pet project.

“It has, however, come to my knowledge that Bobrisky was actually at loggerheads with Tonto Dikeh, and resorted to use my name to discredit her before the general public. I want the general public to know that Tonto DIkeh is just a friend like every other friends I have both within and outside Nigeria, and there is nothing hidden in my friendship with Tonto Dikeh or anyone whatsoever.

“Therefore, I am using this medium to sound a note of warning to Bobrisky, to desist from mentioning my name in any fight he might have with Tonto Dikeh or anyone whatsoever as he is not my friend and I do not waste my precious time on frivolities.”

Mompha threatened to take legal action against Bobrisky if he keeps dragging him into his fight with Dikeh, adding that “as a devoted Muslim, I’ll never associate myself with homosexuality.”

“Any further attempt by Bobrisky to drag me into his issues will be addressed by my lawyers in court,” he added.

“I want it to be in the public that I, Ismail Mustapha, as a devoted Muslim and a family man have never and will never associate myself with homosexuality and my faith forbids it.”
