Prince Gideon Oyekunle, popularly known as Ade Master, has urged Alajaawa Of Ajaawa, Oba Thompson Adeyeye and the Chairman of Ogo Oluwa Local Government, Honourable Oluwaseun Ojo to honour the invitation of the Nigeria Police Force over the crisis that claimed life and properties at Ajaawa.
Ade Master, whose properties were destroyed by irate youths of the community while speaking with our correspondent over the phone, said that the invitation extended to Alajaawa and the council boss was based on the need to unravel the root cause of the crisis that led to bloodshed and wanton destruction of properties in the community and also to prevent future occurrence.
According to him, ” The Ajaawa crisis, is a serious threat to the security agencies concerned and it requires serious attention. The security of lives and people is questioned to the last degree of reasonable logic; making the leadership of the town under questionable and suspicious activities.”
“There have been apologies, suggestions and orders from many people telling me not to honour the invitation from the police, which in the long run would frustrate the efforts of the police and bail would be easy for those in custody.”
“I have been receiving calls from different quarters, telling me not to seek for justice. However, my lawyers have said that such move would be to avert the course of justice. I was equally told that the plans would be made by the state and council governments respectively, to cater for the damages caused on the basis I ignore the invitation.”
He added: “Hon. Ojo told me on phone not to honour the police invitation because I would be detained. I have visited the police headquarters in Abuja on two different occasions, honoured the commissioner of police of Oyo State but Oba Adeyeye and Hon. Ojo are adamant and have refused to honour the invitation by the police.”
