The leadership of Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu (ABAT) Diaspora at the weekend disclosed plans for special visitation to the country, in order to expand consultation to progressive leaders, as measure to ensure the emergence of group’s principal as the next president of the country.

ABAT Diaspora made this known in a letter signed by the General Coordinator, Akogun Banji Ojo, to the Grand Patron, Cardinal James Odunmbaku, stating the need to increase awareness about political participation through “consultative meetings with leaders in different capacities and people to achieve a desirable and governable society”.

It is stated in the letter: “We aim to visit our amiable principal, Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu, in order to appreciate his response to our demands for his leadership skills and orientations in the presidential capacity, and reinstate our commitment to the ambition to rescue Nigeria from the shackles of destruction.

“The visit, as a call to development, is also to be extended to the Executive Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Speaker of House of Representative, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila for following the progressive nature embedded in the philosophy of our principal and the party at large.

Their contributions to the political configuration of the nation have attracted our attention, and we have decided to immortalize their names for their service to humanity.

The letter also noted that, “This visitation aims to honour the contributions of some selected leaders in Nigeria, especially the custodians of our cultural and traditional heritage.

This is the reason we have decided to visit the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja ii), Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and the new Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Lekan Balogun for their immeasurable contributions to the development and growth of cultural tourism of Yoruba race and their services to humanity.
