Following the announcement of Mukaila Lamidi, a.k.a Auxiliary as the Chairman Committee of Motor Park Managers, some members of the proscribed NURTW went on rampage in some areas in Ibadan to protest the appointment of Auxiliary.
In some areas such as Iwo Road, Ojoo and Challenge, members of the Union were seen brandishing weapons which caused the break down of law and order.
In Iwo Road, members of the proscribed Union invaded the express road sending back vehicles coming from Challenge axis and also attacking innocent members of the public.
As at the time of filing in this report; law enforcement agents were seen moving to the affected areas restore law and order in the areas.
It would be recalled that Oyo State government had earlier said that it would not appoint Mukaila Lamidi a.k.a Auxiliary as the head of the Park Managers but only changed its decision this morning and announced Auxiliary as the Chairman of the committee of the Park Managers in Oyo State.
