Barely less than 24hours to the Ekiti State Governorship Election in Ekiti State, the Executive Director Balm in Gilead Development Foundation, an NGO, a major campaigner of Stop Violence Against Women in Politics, a Non Governmental Organization Mrs Tunmininu Adedeji has called on all women in Ekiti to come out in large number tomorrow to perform their Civic responsibility.
Mrs Adedeji who stated this during an interview with journalists in Ado Ekiti said every security apparatus to be used are in place and that women should shun apathy against tommorow’s election.
She noted that women
constitute the lager part of voters anywhere in Nigeria, hence the need to turn out in their numbers to perform their rights.
According to her, in case there is violence against women in tommorow’s election, they should call this toll free line 08003003333 and there will be swift response to such challenge.
